I have developed a Blackberry application that uses push.

I have already implemented and tested it. What I am finding is that the push messages usually work for a period of time and then stop going through. I have noticed that some clients seem to be disconnecting from the push server and therefore are not receiving any push messages – not sure why this is happening as it should hold the connection. Then there are also some clients whose status remain “Active” (i.e. registered on the push server) but still do not receive any pushes. I have confirmed that the we are successfully delivering the messages to Blackberry Push Server.

I have implemented the sample client code as supplied by RIM and are struggling to get any feedback from them with respect to why pushes are not going through to some clients.


Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
