Default Recovery of BB instant messages

Please Login to Remove!

I think my husband is somehow getting things from my work issued black berry. Can some of the recovery programs allow the BB instant messages to be recovered. It seems alot of the info he is getting, this is where it would be from?

Need help

It's difficult to understand what you're asking.
If your "work issued black berry" is on a corporate BES, then BlackBerry Messenger can be audited, including the content of those messages.

Can someone use one of the sim card recovery programs that I am seeing out there to get deleted instant messages that I had. There is a sim card in the phone? I see where the text messages can be recovered but I am trying to figure out if the instant messages conversations can be recovered? Does that make sense.

If they can be recovered, how and what program?

No, that's not possible. BlackBerry Messenger messages are not stored on the SIM card or Media Card.
They're in device memory only, and can not be audited/recovered by any other means besides BES.

If you have a Sprint 8830, then the SIM in the device is for international use and it is not active. Furthermore, SMS as well as IM conversations are NOT stored on the SIM.

Are you suggesting that he has access to your conversations? Is your device password protected? If not, I would recommend doing so.

I have the device with password protection. It is the deleted conversations through instant message that I am worried that he some how got. It was suggested that he recovered the deleted info from the sim card. I can not find anything specifically stating the deleted instant messages can be recovered.

Is there a way still internally that the deleted instant messages can be recovered and by who and how?

Thanks

How many times can we answer the same question?
Messages (deleted or not) are NOT stored on the SIM card. They can't be recovered from the SIM card.
They can't be recovered from the device at all.

The only way that deleted messages can be "recovered" is if they are audited by the BlackBerry Enterprise Server administrator... and the BES admin provides those messages to someone else.

He cant get info from the phone or sim card when you have deleted them. He must have some kind of informer planted around you or someone is leaking somewhere.

You said "Instant Messages" if they are not BB Messenger then he might be able to log them via some other means if you are using Yahoo Messenger, etc.
