I just received my H500 and the paring process worked fine except that the sound is still not coming from the H500. The blue light on the H500 is blinking showing that it is paired and the 7130 found it and paired with it but it is not working. Is there something in the profiles I have to change? Any suggestions?

check out your owner's manual on the H500 on how to do a complete reset. I was having a similar prob on my HS850 and had to reset it, works fine now.

The H500 doesn't really come with a manual, just a paper that unfolds with basic operating instructions - nothing about resets. I tries the Motorola website and did a search but found nothing. Does the 7130 have a hands-free setup other than the Bluetooth setup similar to a regular cell phone?

hold the button on the bluetooth down for like 10 seconds, you blackberry should say, connection to bluetooth h500 established, and then try it, if that doesnt work when you are in a call click in the thumbwheel and go to enable hs500. hope this helps!

Worst case, go to a vzw store and ask the tech people to help you....usually they're pretty good about stuff like that

I called Verizon and they told me to try downloading the latest software for the 7130e. It worked. The latest version is 4.1.0.268 and I had 4.1.0.117 which came with the unit when I purchased it two weeks ago. The web site is vzw.smithmicro.com/blackberry if anyone else is having the same problem.
