I have BB 8520, my problem is I can't open Files as music, emages, Vedios and even BBM is not opening. When somebody calls me it jst flashes, no Ringtone or any alert. When I'm trying to open files it says "error starting Net_Rim_bb_file_explore: module Net_Rim_drm not found" I really need help please guys. There are some tracks I need in my phone, I'm a DJ, I have to use them on Sunday

What did you do to the device just before this happened the first time?

Did you drop it or get it wet?

You can try a battery pull, but I don't think that will help. I think your only option is to reload the software, which will wipe everything out on the device. If you do not have a backup, then the data is gone for good.

If the data is that important, you should get in the habit of making regular backups.

Fortunately my charger was next to the Stove and it got burnt, I think mybe wires touched together because when I woke up it was off, I just switch it on and its where this problem started. Please help how might I reload that software which gona wipe everything.

Could it have also damaged the device itself?

Check the sticky at the top of the 8500 section for the latest OS for your specific device. The instructions are also included. Follow them exactly.
