I know this is an exhausted topic so I will get right to the point. Im in Canada EST. users enter calendar items on there BB's and it shows an hour ahead in Outlook. I have determined the problem to be mismatched CDO.dll files. The BES runs on the SBS server so that makes it on the same server as Exchange.
I've checked here "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{3FA7DEB3-6438-101B-ACC1-00AA00423326}\InprocServer32" and the cdo path is C:\Program Files\Common Files\SYSTEM\MSMAPI\1033\CDO.DLL which shows as version 6.5.6980.74. The cdo.dll in Program files\Exchsvr\bin is 6.5.7651.61. I know the newer file should be the one registered. My concern is how will it affect my exchange server if it's on the same server. Can I just register the new CDO.dll without it messing up Exchange? can I just follow the steps in KB04912? Sorry i cant post links yet
