Default Sync Problem 8830 calendar

Hi,
I just downloaded the latest syncing software. I run Outlook 2003 with my 8830 and have never had a problem syncing before. Now, I can't sync my calendar and get the message "Calendar (not installed)" in my desktop software. Has anyone else had this problem? Ideas to solve it? Thanks!

Did you configure the new version of Desktop Manager? You should see that option when you try to sync for the first time.

yes, I went through the new device set-up when I downloaded the new software. I set-up the calendar to synchronize and it sets-up just like the memoPad, Address Book and Tasks but, when I get back to the select organizer data to synchronize page, it shows "calendar (not installed)"

Perform the following steps:

1. Back up the data on the BlackBerry smartphone.
take a look at the KB article KB23680.
2. Delete all data and applications from the BlackBerry smartphone using the Wipe Handheld option.
take a look at the KB article KB14058.
3. Restore the data to BlackBerry smartphone.
take a look at the KB article KB23680.
4. Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer and open the BlackBerry Desktop Software.
Address book or Calendar (not installed) will no longer be present.

It may be required to re configure the synchronization settings after performing step 4.
