I just purchased my 9800 today and loving it so far! But i can't seem to get onto facebook, internet, appworld or anything else..

It just says it cannot connect at this time.

Even when wi-fi is connected i can't get online, is there anything i can try?

Yeah i do, i have 500MB of internet, but my new plan doesnt start until monday but i still have internet with my previous plan if that helps?

Nope.
Generic data will not work on a blackberry, which is why you need a blackberry data plan.
Nothing you can do till your blackberry data plan is activated.
