OK, we have several software configurations that are manually selected after adding a user, which pushes the selected app to the phone. The default is none. How can I make it so of the list of you apps you see, choose one as a default...for instance Sametime. Every user I add gets that app w/out me having to manually select it?

I am being told it can not be done. Said that default apps can only be assigned to a group. With most people not in a group, no way to do it. I find that hard to believe....

Anyone?

What are you asking me? Are you saying to add all people to a group? We're talking 7000 users or so. Everyone does not belong to the same group. In fact, we have a few groups and plan to have everyone in some form of group once we upgrade to 5.

Well if they're not part of a group right now, then add them to the "Not really a group" group. It shouldn't be hard to assign them - go into the all users tab, sort it by group - left click the top one, shift click the last one, right click, assign to group. If you really want, you can then ungroup them.
