I have downloaded the latest version - 5.0.1.4
I have created a user account BESAdmin
BESAdmin is only members of the Administrators and Domain Users group. It is not a member of any of the special groups that rescind send as.
I ran both Exchange Management Shell commands to give BESAdmin permissions
On the OU that contains the blackberry users, I assigned BESAdmin to have Send As permissions on User Objects. If you got each user object and in permissions you'll see BESAdmin has Send As privilege.
I raised the Domain Functionality to 2008
Exchange 2007 is updated to SP2
When I attempt to assign a device to a user through a USB cable this is the error I get: The BlackBerry Administration Service was unable to retrieve specific device attributes from the device that is connected to your computer.
When I do an IEMSTest for a user I get this: No Send As permission for the {DMC\Besadmin} account operator.
When assigning a BlackBerry smartphone to a user in the BlackBerry Administration Service the following error appears "unable to retrieve specific device attributes from the device that is connected to your computer"
