I upgraded my 9530 to the new OS 5.0 and now I can not view sent emails. I have tried all settings and still can not view. Also having trouble combining SMS in to the main message list.

Need a bit more info. Sent Emails should be listed in the Messages list. Usually they are shown with a check mark to indicate a sent email.

Open your messages folder, hit the Menu key, and select Options. Under General Options make sure you have "Hide Sent Messages" set to No. That's also where you find the option for separate/combined SMS and Mail messages.
