I have a Lotus 8.5 64bit Domino server which I found out will not let me run the BES 4.1.6 server after talking to RIM support. Per their instructions I setup an additional 32bit messaging only server to install BES on.
The problem I am having is that I run the Domino server in -xsp mode to allow hosted orgs on my server.
I can add a user to the BB server if they are part of the original domino domain without an issue. If I add a user to the BB server from one of the hosted org domino domains I get a permissions error on the messaging server.
I have edited the registry per the BB install instructions to allow for addtional domains but that doesn't seem to help. As far as I can tell I have added the proper ACL changes to allow access to the users mail files.
The errors are as follows:
(Jane Doe/Domain) Inbox not found! (Jane Doe/Domain)
(Jane Doe/Domain) PopulateFolderLIst failed because mail file could not be opened
(Jane Doe/Domain) UpdateFolderLIst failed because mail file could not be opened
I think you have me on the right track. If I open "server 2" with the Domino Administrator from my laptop I can see the mail files for the hosted orgs. If I load up nlnotes.exe on "Server 2" I can not see the hosted mail directories.
