don't you know if the latest Vulnerabilities in the PDF distiller is only at BES 4.1.3 - 4.1.6, as they write on the blackberry.com page, or if the same problem is at BES 4.0 ?

well I'm pretty sure that since they only tell you that BES 4.1.3 to BES 4.1.6 are affected, that only BES 4.1.3 to BES 4.1.6 are affected.

They would say specifically if any version of 4.0 was affected.
