I have a theme set up and I changed the background image.

The problem is that when I synchronize via desktop manager the background image changes back to a prior image that I had.

Does anyone know why or what setting I might need to change to prevent this?

I believe this is just a known issue. Someone else can chime in if a firmware update fixes this because I can't remember for sure.

Is the picture you use on the media card? If so its likely because you have your media card set for mass storage ON.

try moving that picture.

open media, click the BB button, select explore.
find the picture you use as a background, click the BB button again and select MOVE.
Now use the BB button to go UP until you find the device memory and put the pic there.

You will have to go and set it as your desktop pic again (cause you moved it)

It isn't an issue with it being on a media card because I don't have a media card.

I am running 4.6.190 on my bold though.

If you're running a third party theme, try a default one and see if its still an issue.

I was using a custom theme. I did try a built in theme and it also happened.

I set a built-in theme as being active, changed the background and then after connecting to the desktop manager, the default background for the theme came back.
