Default Remove IT Policy on Bold?

Please Login to Remove!

OK, I've removed IT Policy from Blackberrys dozens of times before using the well-known instructions posted here. I just tried for my first time to do it on a Bold, and it doesn't work.
With Desktop Manager 4.2 it just doesn't work at all.
With Desktop Manager 4.7 is says something about a problem with the policy file.
Is there an updated blank policy for the Bolds?

Have you tried the alternate JL_Cmdr method? This will remove it completely vs. putting on a blank one.

I just downloaded JL_Cmdr. Thanks for the suggestion, it looks like a cool little tool.
Before I do anything though, does the "resettofactory" feature wipe the handheld as well, or just remove the IT Policy?

It will nuke everything including some 3rd party applications. Best to perform a backup first. There is a procedure on here to capture applications in the backup as well. It involves intercepting an application loader backup before it deletes itself by way of executing the switch device wizard. You grab the backup file that's created and never actually connect the second device. I don't recall which thread.
