Straight from Channel Wire - the Bold will be available at Best Buy on Oct 26th and the Storm on Nov 16th. This was apparently from a presentation of Best Buy, the slides of which were "leaked" - hmmm, how much are they paying these sources?! Here's the link - hopefully that means the end of the wait is nigh.....unless it's just a fresh round of BS.....

Old news, I'm afraid, and likely not going to happen. At this point, it's just an act of futility to try and predict when the Bold will be released anywhere in the US.

I too have read the BGR and BBNews reports about the release dates. My point in posting this was, this is the first confirmation I've read that an independent retailer will be carrying the smartphones on these dates. It's like a third-party verification that these dates are for real. However, like you, I am a little bit skeptical just becoz the Bold has been so delayed. However, most parties seem to agree now that the 27th is the big date,s o let's see....

Of course, I have a Bold now, complete with custom black bezel, but nevertheless, it will be nice to finally see the Bold available in the US.
