A week after the CDMA storm comes out, a GSM variant appears. Why can't we get a CDMA Bold?

If Verizon wants it that badly, then they will work with RIM to get one. Verizon and Vodafone (which owns 49% of Verizon Wireless) worked jointly with RIM to develop the Storm. So two versions. One CDMA and one entire, whole world.

Exactly what he said:
verizon is CDMA,
odafone (rest of the world) is GSM,

therefore both versions had to be made (although I *think* the CDMA version has a sim card slot as well).

As to the original question, I'd be surprised to see a CDMA Bold, but you never know...
