Hello all!

I am a brand new user and owner of a Blackberry 9000 Bold which i bought yesterday. I am having trouble installing the Desktop Software provided. Any help would be appreciated....

I run the software both from the CD that came in the box as well as the setup i downloaded from the official site. I run the archive version as well as the extracted setup file. As soon as the setup runs it seems to proceed normally by updating the windows installer but then a box with instructions about the installer and the different options comes up and the installation stops. I have taken a snapshot of the box for anyone to see and attached it to this post.

I have already downloaded and updated the script version to 5.6 as i thought that this could be a solution (as suggested in another thread in this forum) but it did not work.

Does anyone else have a similar problem? Can anyone help? Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Personally, Id say to find SP3 on microsoft and update, and then try with this.
