I am blown away by the tool called Media Monkey. I did a search here and didn't find a post on it.
I have been playing with their beta 3.0 version this week and ended up purchasing a Life Time license in order to test the device sync feature. It works flawlessly with my BB Curve and 4 GB card!
I can sync pre-defined playlists or specified albums with all the tags and album art that you configure to sync. Of course your Media Monkey library has to be correct in the first place when it comes to tags. Just read their website support are on the basics to get up to speed if you are unfamiliar how tags work.
It is my holy grail for maintaining a FLAC library for my Sonos home system, yet synchronizing custom play lists that convert on the fly from FLAC to MP3 straight to a designated BB media card folder. And I can also sync my sons iPod.
Media Monkey basically standardizes all the DRM free audio files you have into a central library and you can convert lossless to lossless or lossy to lossy for a standard file type in your library.
See you later iTunes and WMP.

BTW - I am not a technical person and with some perseverance I figured out how to use the tool. And no, I am not associated with the Media Monkey team.
Happy listening everyone!
