We could use some more information. Which model BB do you have - the specific model number please.

Who is your cell carrier?

Did the device get wet or dropped?

Is the battery charged? Can you plug it into a wall outlet to charge it?

What were you doing just before this happened? Was there any error message?

the storm 9500 i tried battery pull nothing i didn't drop it or get it wet i was in the middle of texting and the screen just went dark

Sure you didn't drop it or get it wet? That is a classic symptom.

Might try reloading the OS to see if that does anything.

See blackberryfaq.com and find the two articles on JL_CMDER and wiping the device softwre. Then find the latest OS thread for your model at the top of the forum. Read all through before you start. Good luck.

Sounds like hardware issue to me though.
