Default How do I send a PIN message?

Please Login to Remove!

Do I need to be connected to a BES? I tried to send myself a PIN message and it just didn't seem to work. I think maybe it's because I am not connected to a BES?

Also I just upgraded to OS 4.5 maybe there is some initial setup that needs to be done?

PIN messages do not require BES. They do require a BB data plan, though.

Pin Message work to and from Blackberrys. You do not need to be on BES. Edit an address in your address book, add the PIN in the PIN field then in messages hti Menu>Compose PIN

Yeah I tried sending myself a PIN again. It won't work. I don't have any data plan enabled for my blackberry yet so maybe that's why. :(

...even if you use your blackberry for business, the Personal Plan should suffice.

Yeah I was kind of wondering what they meant by "tethering" on the other plans information. The personal plan seemed to me like the best offer because it offered everything I could ever use the blackberry for.
