Default 9000 and Google Sync

I don't think Google Sync works on a Bold (OS 4.6). The app doesn't run on the Bold even though its installed. Also I think having Google Sync installed on a Bold causes a major memory leak. I went from 23MB to 17MB in no time. But it could be something else. I have uninstalled Google Sync and I am monitoring memory.

Thanks.

I thought Bold has 1GB internal memory, is it not shared with running apps?

I don't think so. There seems to be 128MB for programs and 1GB for data. At least that is what it seems to me.

I have noticed that I seem to only have 21705772 bytes free - much less than I though I would have even with 128MB. Very strange.

It seems to be working now. Maybe a reboot was required. I'm not sure but it just finally seemed to start working.
