Default Is it possible to send games/apps by bluetooth?

Please Login to Remove!

Simple question really.

I dont have a USB cable, only have bluetooth available to me at the moment and i would very much like to get programs such as the colour ball one.

As my service isn't up and running i can't install it from the phone, so need to transfer it by bluetooth some how.

Many thanks

I believe that the Desktop Manager software handles bluetooth as well as USB. I'm not 100% sure, but check around in there.

As far as transferring from another BB, I would imagine there would be all kinds of licensing issues that prevented RIM from having that as an option for transferring apps from one phone to another.

Aah ha! The setting is under the Blackberry Device Manager, That's Start > All Programs > Blackberry > Blackberry Device Manager. If it doesn't open up when you click, check your systemtray for a little blackberry & printer icon and double-click it.

Then, if your computer has Bluetooth, check 'enable bluetooth support' and click on Configure Bluetooth.

That's as far as I can take you since it's grayed out for me.

Hope this helps!

Sounds like the Blackberry Device Manager doesn't think your computer has bluetooth capability.
