Install of BPS went fairly smoothly. Just chose all the defaults when installing BPS. They gave me one user cal so i was just going to move one user and make sure it all worked.

Well when they went to entiprise activate it failed. it made it thru about 10 lines and got to a "waiting for services" then failed and said "IT policy was rejected clear handheld and retry."

User is using a 8350i. i was just curious as to what might cause this. I can call RIM but figured i would ask here to see if i could find a answer.

If the 8350i was previously used on a BES or BPS, then you must do a security wipe before it can be activated on a different BES or BPS.

Can i do that from the device or do i need to reactivate it on the previosu bes and do a Kill handheld?

Options> Security Options> General Options> (Menu key)> Wipe Handheld> then type blackberry to confirm.
