The 9930 I just got has stopped displaying the numbers when dialing. If you hit the alt button after dialing, then the numbers are displayed. Any ideas? I can't see any of the settings that would affect that.

Try a battery pull.

If you are using a different theme, try going back to the stock BB 7 theme.

If that doesn't fix the issue, look for the latest leaked OS listed in the 9930 discussion thread or the beta section. And install it.

You will see letters and what have you popup as you type, but you should see the numbers appearing in a smaller font underneath. (If you are dialing from the Homescreen)
