hi everyone i have a question.......im on a iphone o2 contract (unlimited data) and i really wanna sell my iphone and get a blackberry.if i put my sim into a blackberry would my internet and everything be free and work ok??? thanks

No, it won't work.
The BlackBerry requires a specific BlackBerry Data Plan.

Why are you stuck? If you want to get a BlackBerry, then get one. Just switch your data service over to a BlackBerry Plan.

i dont think o2 will switch it cos i have a year to run on my contract!

o2 may change it, if you are paying the same amount.
They don't care what's on your plan, as long as you're paying the same amount.
It may take a few phone calls to get through to a decent customer service person.

I guess it's different in the UK.
In the US, the contract is typically on the voice plan, not the data plan.

On O2 they made specific plans for iphone which are different from the regular phone plans.
including how many minutes and texts you get, plus the iphone specific data plan.

I had a Nokia 5800 with 12 months to run on contract. I contacted Orange to say i was purchasing a BB 9700 and could they switch me to a BB data plan and to my surprise they did it there and then, no extra cost and still running on my existing contract time.
