Hi,

I'd like to desactivate the mail redirection for some Blackberry of our users, during a certain time slot, each days.

It is possible to make those changes through BES ?

I don't understand why but you can't easily automate this via the BES as it stands.

Your options are:

a) For the user to disable re-direction on the device - messages, options, email settings, set 'send email to hanhdeld' to false

b) Log-onto the BES and disable re-direction there.

Whilst you might be able to do something with the BBRK to script this, I would question the benefite vs. time. If you wait for BES5.0 it might be easier as this is meant to include an API to BES functionality..

The mails are still forwarded to the BB !! I don't understand...

It's working, but it also disables calendar redirection, which I need...

Here is the manual process for disabling redirection

If you install the BESUserAdminService (which is a part of the BRK) and run the client interface command:

besuseradminclient -p password -change -u usertotakeactionon -dr

you could script disabling email redirection ... you could re-enable it with the -er flag.

Hi guys,

Does anyone know why one persons account on the BES keeps going back to False under the mail to device re-direction??

It only happens to one person and happens at least 3 times a week!! I change back to true and then he gets mails to his 8310.. Then something happens and it changes back to False... Any input would be great as I've been racking my head trying to resolve this..
