I have been doing my reserach for the last couple of days on this topic but I could not locate a thread that would help me with this dilemma. Let me apologize first if someone has already asked this question... I did you the search option but could not find an answer relevant to my question.

Does BB offer a program similar to Palms desktop organizer that allows the users to make changes/updates to backup contacts, calender, tasks etc,. The program that I am refering to is the one that Palm users install on their comp similar to our BB desktop manager except it allows you to make changes and once device you "hotsync'ed" your device then it automatically updates all your info. I use BES for my work but I want to be able to have a similar feature or program for my personal use. This is one thing that I missed from using a Palm. All I had to do was to enter my info on the computer and then when hotsync'ed the info is updated.

Is there a program out there that allows me to accomplish the same thing? Any help will appreciated. Thanks.

Outlook + the included Intellisync program that comes with the Desktop Manager program.

mine does too with work but not my home outlook... probably bc I have outlook express and not outlook... but Palm comes with a CD you can install to allow you to make calender, tasks, addy book, memo changes and once hotsync'd it is transfered to your Palm. My question is does Blackberry have a similar program? If you know what I mean.

You are talking about Palm Desktop. No; the BlackBerry does not come with a standalone program.

No, there is no Blackberry software which is the equivalent of Palm Desktop.
The Blackberry Desktop Manager (Similar to Palm HotSync Manager) requires you to have some other organizational software on your machine to sync with. Quite often, this is Outlook or Lotus Notes, but there are also other packages available.
