Default 8310 + iPod Touch + iBluever?

Please Login to Remove!

For all of you with an Apple iPod Touch, there is a new app on Cydia (jailbroken devices only) called iBluever. With this app you can connect your normal cell data connection to your iPod via bluetooth DUN. I can get it to connect to my BB however I can't seem to use it for any data purposes. I can view the IP address it is taking from my BB but am unsure if I have AT&Ts APN correct or not to connect to the web. Any help out there for me?

EDIT:
Managed to find this for Cingular's APN conenctions.. Is it the same from AT&T since they bought out Cingular?

Cingular

APN: wap.cingular (lower case)
PDP_Type: IP
Gateway IP Address: 66.209.11.61
Port: 9201
Home Page: http://device:home or http://device.home
Session Mode: Permanent
Connection Security: On
Authentication Type: Secure
Login Type: Automatic
User Name: [email address] (All upper case)
Password: CINGULAR1 (All upper case)

MMS Settings:
Service Name: MMS
Server Name (mmsc): http://mmsc.cingular.com
Web Session Name: MMS

pdanet does not work on a berry.

ipod hardware wise cannot tether bluetooth for data, thats why you arent getting it working even tho you have the right apn settings.

I love how people post when they know absolutely nothing about what a device is and is not capable of. FYI iBluever has an updated version on Cydia that now is blackberry compatible. Atleast for me anyway. ;) Only settings I used are Dial number: *99# and Default chat.

I love it when people point out that they don't know very much.

Edited info here** the ipods NOT jailbroken cannot do data over bluetooth. You didnt specify jailbroken or not, and i dont have the time to go look up apps and you werent bothered to provide even a brief description. You might think about that before you spout of about people not knowing about a device or not.

Blackberry compatible, but only for you?

So you got it working then with your blackberry? And you didn't share what settings were wrong that you corrected to make it connect? Why not?

Reread my first post. I specifically state iBluever, found in Cydia (jailbroken devices only). The community on here has really gone to shit. Can't wait to buy the new iPhone 4G (or HD whatever they call it). Have a nice day.
