Hi everyone, I am new here and so far I am a little dissapointed with my blackberry.

Firstly the display is rubbish by comparrison to my Sony Ericsson K800i.
Secondly the user interface with the trackball is ok, but mine feels almost too loose?
Thirdly I only seem to receive my email in a txt format, is there a way to see them in the format they were sent ie HTML?
Fourth I cannot seem to get a web page or browse the interent?

Otherwise its a lovely piece of technology, that I am sure if I could iron out my problems will provide me with the tool I thought I was buying.

I am on Utility Warehouse (T-Mobile)

1. Never had a k800i. Have you tried changing the brightness in Options - Screen/Keyboard.

2. No problem here.

3. No. BB e-mails are in text only, and have only been in text only. Rumored to be in a future release.

4. Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan set up (not a GPRS or Internet plan - a BlackBerry Data Plan)..

Good luck and welcome.

Welcome as well. Stick with it, you'll find several uses for your device.
