Blackberry Maps will not download to my 8100 v4.2.0.64 via blackberry.com/maps it says this deice is not supported? Is there a problem or is it true it will only run on 4.1?

just check the box in desktop manger to install it.

are you gonna use it for gps nav or just usual maps. googlemaps is better but no gps that i foound. ota download @ google.com/gmm use your bb browser on that one. hope i was of assistance

I have Google maps working and wanted try BB Maps also but the Blackberry site won't install it to the 8100 with v4.2

If you download the desktop manager and your handheld software, bbmaps is there. Your best bet is to return your 8100

Duh, I gave up on it at first and didn't realize all I needed to do was to zoom in to get it going. Not sure which one I like now GM or BB Maps.
