How to synch second mapped address book
Please Login to Remove!
This is for Outlook 2003\Exchange on a corporate BES 4.0.
This is if you have access to another mailboxe's contact folder.
1. Turn off the Wireless Synchronization of the address book on the BB
2. Plug the BlackBerry into a USB wire that is connected to a computer
3. Launch the Desktop software (may need installed)
4. Go into PIM configuration
5. Click Address Book, and click on Choose
6. Click on Browse
7. Expand the second mailbox who's contacts you need to import to the BB
8. Highlight the contact folder and click ADD, then OK. You should have two folders mapped now.
9. Click on OK, OK, to close the previous windows. Click on Sychronize Now.
10. The second contact folder will be imported into the BB
11. Plug the BB and turn the Wireless synch back on to YES
Note: It appears that you will still have wireless synching capabilities but only with your MAIN contact folder. You will not be able to manipulate the second contact folder that was mapped even though you have editor rights when you are using Outlook from a desktop. To keep updated with the second contact folder, you will have to wire sych it.
** Does anyone know if it is possible to have the second mapped address book synch wirelessly??!
