Default Disable Desktop / Enterprise Email

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Blackberry Bold 9700 running OS 6.0.0.666. I have always just used BIS to sync the BB to my company Exchange/Outlook environment. (Our IT manager refuses to roll out BES even though we have at least 20 employees with BBs. I think BES is installed, but don't know the status.)

I was playing around with the BlackBerry Desktop Manager the other day and turned on the Enterprise Email option and linked to our Exchange server. I don't know what I was thinking at the time.

The problem is that I can't figure out how to turn this feature off. I can hide the "Desktop" mailbox on the device but can't seem to delete the syncing. As a result I now get emails twice.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Default Re: Disable Desktop / Enterprise Email

The BES now owns the BB. you need to call your nasty IT guy and see if he will release it. Also you may find he is limiting access to the Outlook servers via the BES only. BIS access may fail.
The IT policy was loaded.
