Running BESx 5 using Exchange, our firewall was rebooted and now we cannot make a connection to gb.srp.blackberry.com.

Using Server Configuration - BlackBerry Router - Test Network Connection:

Attempting to connect to:
gp.srp.blackberry.com (93.186.25.33), port 3101
ERROR: connect() failed: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
(10061)

Running bbsrptest produces a similar error.

I have seen others say they have had to call RIM and get them to reset something?!?

I have solved this, it was an issue with our firewall....

When you try to use the same SRP from different machines at the same time, RIM will block your access and you need to call them to unblock it. Do you have more than one Blackberry server?

It could also be that you connect from the wrong country. Where is your Blackberry server located?
