I use MailStreet, which is a hosted Exchange service. Top notch customer service everytime I've needed them and never have had any trouble with the service reliability. Also syncs e-mail and contacts, in addition to calendar.

I use a hosted Exchange Server and BES from ExchangeMyMail.com. Like gdpmumin, I've gotten excellent service and I've heard good things about MailStreet too. I think these two are the services that get mentioned the most here.

There's a thread in General BlackBerry Discussion about ExchangeMyMail.

I also use a hosted Exchange Server called Link2Exchange. I started about 2 weeks ago, and until now the service has been excellent. The activation process only took about 2 hours, I consider it really fast. I suggest that you the threads on on BES services, to make up your mind.

I use Mailstreet and know several (5+) others that I know that use Mailstreet also. No complaints and the service is great.

So, just help a newbie out here -- if I am "connected" (if that's the right word) to/through a BES (offsite, at the home office), then, I don't need any of what's been discussed above -- am I right?

Thank you.

What i'm trying to do is that my wife and i have a active calendar.

What I want to do is sync the calendar two both our bb so we can see what is going on in the future and if one makes changes the other calendar changes plus the home computer.

What would you recomend for the best way to do that? I signed up for link2exchange but i think it's not what i need.

ps we don't need mail exchange because we allready do that through blackberry.

I am also looking to sync my exchange data with my BB. I already own an exchange server, I only need the BES connectivity. Is there a service that just provides BES that can work with my existing Exchange server?

Wrong.

You need one of the above sevices to get BES/MDS, unless your employer has it on his server. I use Mailstreet but I've heard good thing about the others.

Otherwise you must use BIS (what use to be called Blackberry Web Client ) but it has much less functionality eg wireless sync

Default Not possible

Unfortunately, sharing one calendar is not possible on BBs. My wife and I are in the same position; we both have BBs and use a shared calendar on our PocketPCs (she actually syncs to my MailStreet calendar). But according to two different hosted Exchange providers, sharing the same calendar on two BBs isn't possible.
