Default Constant 9700 freezing?!?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey Everyone.

I've had my BB9700 for about 2 months now and as of late, I'm experiencing constant freezing with my phone. Basically, if I have the music player on, then go onto the browser and then lets say, I check my emails, out of no where my phone ends up freezing and shows that little clock thingamagjig and I have to pull the battery out in order to unfreeze it. I dont know if this is a "normal" thing considering this is my first BB or if it's just the phone or if I should contact my service provider?!? Is anyone able to help clarify this?!? Thanks

FYI: I only have 3 apps on my phone including Pandora which I use every now and then (and it's not defaulted on autostart)

I was having freezing issues with my 9700 and I upgraded my OS and haven't had any issues for awhile now. What OS are you running?

Backup the data using Desktop Manager and re-installed the latest device software and it should resolve the issue.... I am using a You Tube player that freezes my BB once in a while but I am not heavy bomber of You Tube so I dont care much.

Either you tube player will fix the issue or the future release of BB Device S/w will handshake well and get over with the issue.

I'm not sure how to find out what OS I'm running? Where do I locate it?!

I did, and its still the same problem, even removed the apps I had downloaded. I know everything isn't perfect but I think it may have been Pandora causing the freezing?! Or it may be the phone?
