Using a tmobile 9700, on my 4th replacement since Feb due to dropped calls, 3G dropping to GPRS, random reboots.

Right now I'm getting a nasty microphone feedback noise when I use speakerphone on a call, half of my phone calls are on speakerphone.

Depending on how I hold the phone, it gives a loud feedback noise. Makes me think of the new iphone issue. Maybe the mic is too close to the speaker or something else related to the internal design (i cover mine with a rubber oem skin).

I think RIM made one of worst bb's w/ the 9700 because of 3G dropping to gprs when on a all, dropped calls, frequent inability to make a call when on 3G...I'll dial and the phone wont do anything, the up/down load arrows on the top right not even showing

Yeah, mic feedback is known issue on .714 OS that tmo issued as an update.
My prob is that my 3G drops down to GPRS frequently when I"m on a call, and in a supposedly good 3g area. I used .714 since that was tmo's update figuring I'd get the best 3g reception...
