Facebook Sync--Hide Company Name

I am currently using the facebook sync option with my contact list and it automatically syncs the company name, but a lot of my friends (which are mostly college students) make fake companies or work for a business that has no use for it being in my contact list. Is there a way to hide the company name from the contact list when scrolling through the names? Or stop syncing company names?
