I just had my 8330 replaced during the holidays after dropping it in a dish of water. Now on this replacement phone i have 2 lines showing. When i go into the profiles for ringtones, it lists all the messengers and whatnot and then says Phone [000000xxxx] it doesn't actually have xxxx it was all 10 0's but when i called verizon they told me to put the last 4 of my ESN there, which didn't help. Under that i have Phone [my phone number].

Also when i get a VM, and click on call VM in my messages, i get an option for Line 1 or Line 2, and of course i always pick the wrong one and have to redo it all to get my VM.

This phone has already been wiped twice now while talking to verizon support about other problems. I've updated the software in the phone with the Desktop Manager, and updated the OS to 4.5.0.175 and it still has those 2 listings for phones.

Verizon says it's a glitch in the phone and needs to be replaced but won't touch it because it's a warranty replacement. Asurion says it's working as intended, but after 45 minutes arguing with them they're going to replace it. On the off chance this next replacement phone has this problem also, does anyone know how to fix this and get my phone back to normal? the previous 8330 i had originally never had that.

Never mind i figured it out.

Seems that when i activated and programmed my first replacement phone i had the original BB still on and connected. It told me it found another BB device on my network and asked something about adding or transfering the info over. told it no this time and everything is back to normal.
