My Tour is doing funky things, I have the Tour set up to alert me when certain people send me either a MMS or a SMS text message, and for the Tour to sound off a custom ring tone. For all others I have it set for silent. Not sure what I have done cause I have gone over this many many times but the last entry I make turns into the default tone for when I get a voice mail message. My Tour lets me know when someone leaves me a voice mail and uses whatever tone I chose last. My understanding is that this is a Level one message, yet that is set for silent.

My question is this, I know of a program called Alert Matrix but that appears to be a little overkill for what I want to do. Does anyone know of another application I can use that also costs less for someone like myself who just wants to customize SMS alerts for certain people.

Level 1 is Level 1. SMS is used for voicemail notifications. I suspect that you haven't quite set up the profile exceptions properly. It sounds like you're setting each exception profile as the active profile.
