Hey every1 Iv been having trouble ever since i got my tour. when i plug it in to the computer -i have a macbook pro os 10.5- the SD card wont show up on my desktop and the mac doesn't recognize the phone. i enabled mass storage and that didnt fix the problem. any ideas?

you need drivers to get it to work
download either pocketmac
or missingsync

both alternatives to blackberry desktop manager
which will likely have sufficient drivers.

desktop manager for Mac is rumoured to be released in sept.

i already have the latest version of pocket mac is there a place i can get just the drivers for mac?

Are you connecting via a hub or directly to your laptop? Hubs sometimes don't like DM.

Go to Options>Memory>Media Transfer Protocol set to Off, Mass Storage Mode Support On, Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected Yes

I was having the same problems with my tour and Macbook. After talking to RIM support and making those changes it connects fine now.

so i fixed the problem with downloading the new drivers found the link in a thread here. thanx for all your help guys. and another side note if you have trouble with pocket mac you only need to delete the preferences in the library.
