i was reading about tethering "tetherberry" from what i take it that it works on almost everything except what i have....nextel. what will it take to get it to hook up to my laptop? or do i not get to have this awesome feature?

Did you try the method in the FAQ? If it doesn't work straight, Mobishark has a trial download so at least you'd know it works.

i just tried to install the Mobishark and couldnt get it to go i didnt do it right i am waiting for a email back from them, i called nextel and they said they didnt care if i used my phone as a modem that i have the unlimited data plan just that my 8350i they dont support the software for it! i just want to hook them together

tethering on an iden BB is not supported - you'll also only get 40 - 60k at best....
