Is it possible to use rhapsody by signing up on rhapsody instead of through verizon? My storm is on my work's plan and my boss isn't going to go for that.
Many Thanks

If you already have Rhapsody, you can register the device. Rhapsody allows for up to three devices, and if your phone supports Rhapsody's service it will work. I am leaning toward a Storm and if I take the leap, I will have it by the end of the week. If I don't see that you have tried it yet, I'll let you know how it performs on the Storm.

Thanks dbower96 i'd appreciate the benefit of your experience. I feel certain I could transfer music to my Storm, what I'm curious about is if I can stream from Rhapsody without going through Verizon.

Many Thanks!

Because I don't actually have a Storm yet, I'm not sure about streaming. All the commercials and demos that I have seen on the Storm don't necessarily show the ability to stream and update your subscription playlist. They show the ability to purchase and download tracks, but it doesn't look the same as when you use the subscription feature of Rhapsody. My wife and I both have to use the PC connection on Rhapsody in order to sync and add music to the player.

I have a storm and rhapsody. Here is the low down. To use the subscription feature of rhapsody you have to use the application on a PC and transfer the songs to your phone via a usb cable. You can only purchase songs from your phone. Something that I had trouble with is you have to turn off "Mass Storage Mode Support" for your computer to see your phone as a multimedia device instead of a hard drive.

Hope this helps.
