Default Obama -v- Pakistan?

Please Login to Remove!

Rocket strikes in Pakistan....

Obama -v- Pakistan...

I will give him credit, if he even ordered it.... Reports say it was CIA ordered strikes and that there is a standard agreement to stike when targets are identified....

Is Osama DOA????

I've never hoped for the death of another human being. In this case, I'll make an exception.

I wonder... This is a past practice where the CIA has the authority to strike if a target is present.... I doubt Obama even knew about the strike or that he even approved it.....

Either way... A strike INSIDE Pakistan? Odd..... I know there has been others but to strike right after a new president takes over makes we wonder who the suspected target was.....

"In 2008, there were 30 suspected U.S. missile strikes in Pakistan, based on a CNN count."

no response yet from any US official. it will be interesting to hear what white house has to say.

Must be a drag to be targeted by a Hellfire missile. Although I guess the target never knows.

It's a tough situation either way. I'm glad I'm not the one making the decision to fire.

well he's from Pakistan so I think he has a much different perspective on it, as would anyone.

you and Dawg are probably extremists to him in the way you guys are kill first and don't worry about trials or innocence.

the missiles are hitting in civilian villages not always on any battlefield. so does that make the whole region a battlefield? that sounds more like the terrorists mentality. I believe that why they feel justified to bomb buses and things.

I don't have an issue with it if the Pakistanis cannot get control over the areas and we know of specific targets. Its part of war that innocent people do get hurt but that does not make them any less innocent.

Then perhaps these *innocent* villages should stop hiding terrorists and turn them over to the authorities..

Ya, I know that's a crazy idea...

Agreed if you are hiding a terrorist then you are a terrorist. Guilty by association

They do have a choice.... Just like in Gaza or the West Bank... They can hide the terrorists who use their homes to launch rocket attacks on Israel and get bombed back into the stone age, then seek sympathy form the world, look at big mean Isreal hurting us for no reason.... OR they can kick them out, turn them over to authorities and not get bombed back into the stone age....

They make their choice and their own beds.....

Man guys, I don't completely agree with that. These thugs can come in and take over a town and with the firepower they bring, there's nothing the local population can do about it. I do think that there is some purposeful harboring of terrorists, but I don't think that's the whole story.
