Default HDSC Card Not Working

Please Login to Remove!

Apologies if this is a repeat. I did search...

I bought an HDSC 8Gb micro sd card today and my Curve is unable to read anything or save anything to the card.

Is the Curve even capable of reading an HDSC card?? I have a regular 2Gb micro sd card in it with no problems...

Thanks,

J

What OS are you running on your Curve? Options -> About.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 9530)

Have you tried formatting the card in the phone?

You need OS 4.5 to be able to use the full 8 GB.

What type and size Media Card can I use in my device? - BlackBerryFAQ

Check the stickies at the top of this forum for the latest OS for your device.

Either wait for an official OS or you can install a Beta your choice.

Are you waiting for the 4.5 release from Rogers? If yes, here it is.
