Hey fellow addicts! I work at Rogers retail in Canada and I'm happy to say that we just received our launch kits for the 9000. This means Aug 18th is near definite. If my 7130 had a camera, I'd take pics! Woot! New phone soon!!!!

Anyone knows about AT&t's plans for the new release? I understand that they are already behind in their schedule. Does anyone know why?

This thread is obviously about Rogers. Please look for the ATT speculation threads.

Thanks.

Thanks for the heads-up , I hope it's true. Rogers is definitely doing a good job in keeping us in limbo.

I'm getting ancy for this

Thanks for believing in me, but I am only forwarding whatever info I get from above. Who knows maybe it will be Monday or Tuesday(19) or Wednesday, but at least we know that the ball is rolling into the stores.

You'd need a backpack to carry it, and the extra battery would add probably 10 pounds. When it vibrated it would move you around the floor like a Strat-0-matic Football piece. But it sure would be "Bold". :D

Yes I spoke with my AT&T rep. She told me that they are having problems certifiy the device on thier network. When they got the device from RIM they had about 20 things to fix. After making some changes they now have 40 things to fix.
