Default BIS and Exchange 2007

Please Login to Remove!

This is for anyone that has an inside track to BIS developers - will RIM update BIS to support integration with MS Exchange 2007? Just curious as we upgraded our mail server to 2007 earlier this year. OWA on 2007 is much better than 2003 but BIS does not support it. My IT guy has not turned on POP or IMAP access (and probably won't). Right now I have all email forward to my blackberry.net account but would like to stop that, some day.

Thanks

i am very curious about this too since we now run exchange 2007, and I have a number of blackberry users who i'd love to set up for OWA instead of the ghetto forwarding to gmail workaround we're using for them now...

Default have you seen this

BES for Exchange Server 2007

I haven't installed that yet but; from what RIM is telling me, it's true- the current version of BES (Express "has all of the features of the non-express version" only costs like $99 per user and allows up to 15 users) works on Exchange Server 2007.

Default Oh!

PhillyGuy -

Do you know for sure the OWA 2007 won't work on the new Blackberries?

I just opened a thread on that very subject. I can login to our server and see my message list but, when I click 'send' on a new message, the cursor goes to the search field and the message does not send. thanx

i tried to configure BIS users for OWA and it doesn't work. the blackberry site seems to confirm that it's only for OWA 2003... no 2007 support yet. i hope they get with it soon!
