We have an Otterbox for the 87XX series BB's in our office that has been sitting around collecting dust for sometime now.

So we have come up with the idea that we are going to test it's durability and need some ideas.

This afternoon, we are going to video tape a working 8703 BB from Sprint loaded into an Otterbox, and torture it.

Some of the ideas we already have are:
1. Running it over slowly with truck
2. Running it over at 35mph with a truck
3. Submerging it in water
4. Going to try and convince the UPS guy to run it over with the UPS truck.

So, any ideas of some more "testing" that we can do is encouraged...What ideas do you have?

Keep in mind, that shock vibrations can still kill a phone, so we may not try and throw it against a wall or drop it from the roof onto the parking lot...Maybe...If we do that, we may do it with a dead 87 unit.

So let's hear your ideas. We are planning to start this in about 4 hours, so we are looking for ideas until then.

For the water test, do a toilet drop - this should be as realistic as possible! ;)

Errr...will probably fill up a trashcan with water and dunk it in that...Don't want to be TOO realistic and catch some funky disease fishing it out of the toilet...

make a more realistic test, clip it to your belt and wrestle around on the ground, run into walls, fall down etc while your friend sprays you with a hose! Well, maybe not realistic but it will make for a better video!!
