Default Call Log not logging calls

Please Login to Remove!

I remember a time when the call log logged all my calls, incoming, outgoing, missed calls, etc. Now the Call Log only logs my missed calls. I checked out the Call Logs>Options>Call Logging and observed that "Missed Calls" was checked. I also noted that the message at the top of the screen said "Show these Call Log Types in Message". So I thought that I will get messages for the "Missed calls". And when I miss a call I do get a mesasge telling me that. But I want to be able to see. I even tried changing the selection from "Missed Calls to All Calls", the storm seemed to hang up.

I don't knkow if there is another setting I should be checking out, but I want to see all my calls, incoming, outgoing, missed calls, etc. in the log. PLease help.

TO see a complete list, go to Messages, press the menu key, select view folder, select Phone Call Logs.

on QWERTY devices it's easier. Go to Messages > press Alt + P.

I would try a battery pull and then try again.

I tried the battery pull and the Uncaught Exception is still showing up when I used View Folder>Phone Call Logs. It also shows up when the phone is starting up, around the same time it asks me if I want it to automatically select GSM or CDMA, I usually choose no, then it tells me that there are no service books installed. That's ok cause I'm not using a data plan. But I don't know what's causing the Uncaught Exception. In another thread on the Uncaught exception they suggested that you go to Options > Advanced Options > Applications and set the app to "allow", except IO don't know which app is causing it.

What OS are you running? You may need to upgrade your OS.

I tried deleting some of the older calls in the log, I got the "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException". It gets worse I think that I need to reinstall the OS. When I go into "Messages" I get a blank screen, then I pull up the menu and choose View Folder, Browser Mesages is highlighted, when I choose Phone Messages I get the "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException". When I try to go back into messages, I can't. NOthing happens, the same is true for SMS, I can't get into them. It's only after I do a battery pull that I can access them
