Hi,

My users are experiencing an unusual problem with their Blackberrys. They can send e-mails internally to each other fine, however when they try to send e-mails externally they are never delivered. They appear to go from the Blackberry fine with no errors. There does not appear to be anything obviously wrong with the BES server. Has anyone experienced this problem? We are running BES server V4.1. Any help greatly appreciated.

Are all your users experiencing the same problem, or just some? Sounds like a BES issue to me, have you checked the log files?

All of the users are experiencing the problem. I have also just configured a new Blackberry with an account of my own and it happens with that too.

Which platform? If Domino, perform a trace to an external email domain from the Domino console for verifying a valid connection. If not successful, you need to double-check outbound smtp setup - connection doc. Any delivery failure reports at all?

I will leave the test for Exchange/Groupwise to the other experts here...
