Not specifically, but my $.02 goes to a data timeout in communicating with the server.

And when you call them, what do they say? Are you subscribed (paying for) VZ Navigator?

Actually, your phone told you that when you first ran it from your device.

No...it didn't.

If I'm not going to get VZ Navigator till a little while later would it be a good idea to turn off that GPS location thing to save battery? I'm thinking all its doing now is just being an extra drain on battery but having no purpose or does it affect/operate with something that I don't know besides Navigato

I've been running NAV4ALL. It is a free gps program that runs pretty well on my storm. It isn't the perfect program but well worth the pricetag imo. It foes take a little getting used to, but if you have common sense, it will get you to your destination.

Common sense is not so common.

I've been using VZ Navigator for a few days, since it's free for 30 days. IMHO if you bought aquality name brand GPS Navigator and kept it current and up to date as VZ Nav. is, you would in the course of a couple years pay more than $9.99 per/mo. And not during that time have the best cell phone there is, including all of its other benefits.

IMHO
